Day_44 MY CITY-4

Hello everyone, and welcome to my 44th blog post. I hope you're all doing well. Let's continue with our series on my city, Vadodara. Today, I want to share some lesser-known places with you. Whether you're from Vadodara or elsewhere, you might be surprised to learn that at one point, Vadodara had over 100 vavs (stepwells). Some of them are well-maintained and accessible even today. NAVLAKHI VAV Let's start with Navlakhi Vav, located in Laxmi Vilas Palace. It is believed to have been built by Sultan Muzaffar Shah in the 15th century. According to the book "Ramesh Joshi Imarat Ane Avshesho - Baroda Nagari No Prachin Itihas," there is a Brahmini inscription on one of the lower floors. The name "Navlakhi" comes from the fact that nine lakh gold coins were spent on its construction. Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III later restored it. Initially, it supplied water to Laxmi Vilas Palace and now provides water to the golf course. SEVASI VAV Another beautiful st...

Day_43 From Broken to Blooming: Journey with Depression

Hello everyone, and welcome to my 43rd blog post. Today, let's discuss a crucial aspect of our lives that often goes undiscussed due to the weight it carries. However, let's not make it a big deal. This aspect plays a vital role in all our lives - mental health. Deep down, we all experience mental challenges, but we hesitate to share or find the right people to talk to. It's often the challenges and failures in life that lead us to mental issues and, in some cases, even depression. Have you ever wondered why many people experience depression? There are common reasons, such as unmet expectations and the disappointment that follows. I agree that unfulfilled expectations can indeed contribute to mental health issues. During my own struggle with this phase, I felt like a burden on others and questioned what I should do next. I needed the courage to make decisions. One valuable lesson I learned is that you are always with yourself. Consider this: are your parents with you everyw...

Day_42 MY CITY-3

Hello everyone, and welcome to my 41st blog post! I hope you're doing well. Today, we'll continue our series on "My City." If you haven't seen the previous blogs in this series, you can find them on my website. Now, let's delve into one of the most famous and cherished places in Vadodara – the Laxmi Vilas Palace. This iconic structure was built by Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III in 1890 and is currently valued at approximately ₹24,000 crores. The main architect behind this grandeur was Major Charles Mant. The entire palace showcases the Indo-Saracenic Revival architecture. Remarkably, it is four times the size of Buckingham Palace and sprawls across an area of approximately 500 acres. During its construction, the palace boasted many modern amenities, including elevators, and its interior resembled that of a large European country house. In the 1930s, Maharaja Pratapsinh had a special golf course constructed for European guests. Interestingly, his grandson Samar...

Day_41 MY CITY-2

Hello everyone, and welcome to my 41st blog post! With a new blog comes a new beginning. I've started this blog to share insights about my city. If you missed my previous parts, you can find them on my website. Let's dive in! If you're in Vadodara, it's impossible not to have seen Mandavi Gate. The name Mandavi itself signifies mandap. In 1511, when Khalil Khan became the emperor of Gujarat, he commissioned the construction of Mandvi Gate. Initially, this structure had only two floors. Over the passing years, Ganpatrao Gaekwad, the king of the Gaekwad dynasty, expanded it to four floors. On top of the gate, Gaekwad's flag proudly waved. Back then, this gate was used for tax collection and making important announcements. It held such a royal status that only royal elephants and cars, including the royals' carriages, were allowed to pass through. Mandvi Gate has been a center of attraction since its early years and continues to be one today. If you ever visit Vado...

My childhood, teenage and now adulthood will also go in Vadodara, unless I change my city for work. There are so many places which are famous just by there street foods for example Mahakali Sev Usad, Maska bun, and also few places are famous just to sit idle like Akota bridge. We as a barodians love to sit on akota with family and friends sitting on road side, the night air, crisp and cold, snakes through our clothes, sending shivers  across the landscape. One such place is Sursagar Lake . I personally believe it is the heart of Vadodara. Many people Come here to see statue of Lord Shiva in middle of the pond.  Allow m...

Again today me and my friend hustled for getting a new internship and job. And another thing we did was doing .Net. Learning from youtube is I guess the best platform because we get all the content for free. Now adays the days are not going they are just going, if you know. I would make clear, like if you have something to do you have work or you need to work and that's compulsory for you that's called the days are going in work, But in my case I have no work as such I am learning for my own and doing work for my own I always need to have that inspiration, my goal in front of me to always motivate myself to hustle hard, one day this all will be worth it. Day_35 Finding Hope's In Difficult Situation

Hey Everyone Welcome to my blog 35 I assume everyone is reading this blog in their healthiest state. Today's topic is some what serious, if u saw my title "Times not same" , now by that I don't mean that time is changing in secs minutes or hours.  My strong point with title is the situations and the probability that situation will change is surely related to changing time. Now I hope you might not understand what I need to convey, But let me make it clear. As a person, we think our situations are the worst or maybe they are the most vulnerable, unless you find problems of others. It's always with me, unless I get up to some other's life problem. I get so numb and just feel to escape from the crowd go in loneliness, and never return.  I have this anonymous girl by my side. We got up in college, passed so much to each other, bad or good everything. We always treat each other as a bros - sis in higher levels from our hearts. I never distinguish her as someone who...

Day_34

Hello Everyone and Welcome to my blog 34. I am continuing my blog after few days. I already mentioned in previous blogs I have my externals. So three papers are completed and three are still left which will get over by 19 dec. Talking about my three exams they were ok ok not so good not so bad, probably I'll pass. Sometimes I wish the book of engineering be simple to understand, and not so complex.  Since few days I am getting worried of my career I am having intuitions of getting late to find a job. Have I been so late to find a job or an internship. Being an IT student I have to search my field related work and I really hope I am not that late to find a better opportunity. Writing Blogs daily is my hobby, It's something I like to do and share, but this would not help me pay my bills though. But could help to express my feelings.  I always believe everything happens at right time, And some good time comes and gets me a good opportunity and not just me, my friend as well...

Day_33 First Paper

Hello Everyone and Welcome to my blog 33 Today was my first paper and it went quite good. Questions were as I expected and whatever I prepared came. We have 2.5 hour to write the paper but the last minutes are always crucial to tie the answer sheets and the biggest flaw is there is no hole made on the answer sheet we have to do it manually like seriously in the last 10 mins remaining they expect the students who is seriously writing the last phase of the paper and this is the point where all the content comes together, and they expect us to manually punch the hole with the pen. I faced this today and it was so frustrating. On the day of paper it's not just the preparation you did but also there are so many key factors that directly affect the paper. I can't say of others but for me it's always the same through all this years, which includes having the coffee and seriously the sip of coffee decides my mood, slowly and gradually having a sip of hot coffee, it also make sense...
